So with the last coat of paint left to be done we decided to assemble to gun and then give it the final coat as we figured it'd develope a few scratches and there's a ton of screws and bolts that need a dab of paint too.
So we started putting it back together only to find "wait! how does this bit go back in again?" Luckily for us....
After that bits went back in with ease, we made some modifications to the system here and there. Installed some roller bearings so that the action will be smoother and cause less wear.
The barrel goes back on:
The new springs go in:
More parts go back in, we upgrade the AEG nozzle to a metal one and improve the BB loading system with more rollerbearings. We also increased the two screws holding the barrel to M5s for more strength.
The trigger valve goes in.
The plumbing goes in, the top plate, handles and trigger all go back on. We still need to spray the feed-plate.
The tray cover back on, we opt to leave off the cocking handle system for now
Put back into her mount - had to seriously reinforce the workbrench it usually sits on as it was starting to go :P
A quick chronograph check showed that we needed to down the pressure a little :P
The video really doesn't do it justice, the sound it makes is amazing much sharper than before (but it sounds flat in the video :().
