Day 30 & 31 - Friday 7th, Thursday 13th August
MadDog puts the groves in for the front sight
hehe you can just see a reflex sight we'd tape to the back... we err put that there for err testing :P I had that dead on at 3m too B)
The front sight freshly installed (we've since ironed out that kink and cleaned it up):
With nothing left to do to the main part of the gun so we start stripping it
I start work on the rear sight

We decided to grind the body down and use the sandblaster to clean out the insides
Sadly the little sandblaster we've got proved useless for so much rust build up over a huge area.
So we took it down to a metalworks where they used a massive sandblaster on it. We had to leave it with them for nearly a week. Hehe, MadDog when he phoned them; "Hello, is my machine gun ready yet?" :P :D
We're just testing what paint we want to use, we're favouring a hammerrite over krylon atm.
