We continued working on the mount and tray cover in this build.
Parts of the mounting bracket before welding and cutting:
Part of the mount needs to lock into the rear part of the gun, the bracket poking out the bottom (which we got wrong but shhhhh no one will notice :P It's meant to look like this: pic, sadly we did have that photo at the time)
MadDog finishes off the tray cover (as pictured). Some welding and cutting later the securing pin-bracket is on:
A bit more welding and the mount is all but complete, just needs one hole and a lot of cleaning up:
Using a G-clamp we afix the mount to the worktable and have a little fun :)
The balance is just right, it's slightly back heavy just as we wanted
We still need to put in a locking clip in for the tray
