Day 23 - Thursday 2nd August
Been a while! We lost three possible construction days trying to get my newly aquired 1972 LWB
Land Rover back to my place - bought it uber cheap but it needed a wheel bearing repalced, of course what was meant to be a 30 minute job turned into a nightmare.
This Land Rover will be for airsoft field use :) Plus I had a little holiday at the end of July, damn time flies!
Anyway we're back on track now!
Spent a lot of time planning and working out what to do next and the measurements etc.
The mounting bracket, the M2 will sit on this;
Attacked!!! Amazing this has been the worst injury suffered so far and naturally it was me that got it :P
We removed some of the screws poking out and finished off the screws for the top and bottom plates:
MadDog nearly finished cuttiing out the feed tray cover:
I bought a fire extinguisher for the workshop the other day. Something tells me I should also get one of those green first aid boxes to hang on the wall :P
The sides bent in a bit: it fits on just right right :D Also did some work on the main body, working the hinge part for the tray cover and some work for the little plate across the front (not pictured).
