Day 17 - 14th June

Had a few delays in being able to work on the M2 lately but hopefully they're behind us now. We wanted to work on the trigger but that wasn't possible as we need some clutch/brake cable which we'll pick up Saturday. The inert .50cal rounds arrived the other day but we'll save working on them until near the end.

the .50cal Rounds, next a 5.56mm is the 'tiny' bullet in the pic :P

The .50cal rounds in the ammo chute, my 1911 in the pic to give you some scale :O

From left to right; .50cal, 7.62x51mm, 5.56x45mm, .357 magnum, 9x19mm, .32 Auto and to complete the picture a 6mm BB (0.36g).

We cut out part 1 of the feed plate and drill a hole inline with the hop-up unit, need to make another cut so the hop-up unit is adjustable:

The bits for part of the mount bracket:

One of the mount brackets before being welded:

Welding the mount bracket:

(lol ok ok that pic is partly faked-up ;) - seriously don't try that a home!)

MadDog Drills the holes into the M2

I invent a new bullet! The .50cal-7.62mm (gawd knows how thats meant to work) :P

We weld a chopped up CO2 capsule on the the bottom mount bracket:

We make a quick "MacGyver" mount to test :

Getting there :D Hopefully we can conquer the trigger mech on saturday
