Sorry for the lack of updates recently, it's because we've been very busy with R&D work on the feeding system: we needed a system where the nozzle would move back ~8mm to allow a BB to feed into the hop-up chamber then flip forward loading the BB into the bucking before the piston reached the back and fired.
We've welded the mid barrel and stop plate in. This was 3 plates which we welded into the body then filled with molten steel as it'll be taking the impact of the system recoiling.

The feeding plate system with our first version of the catch-release system:
Which got ditched as it didn't work properly.
I'm afraid there's a bit a of gap in the photos here at the moment, this is our 2nd version of the catch-release system which works! We got the gun to fire a good 30 rounds from a make shift magazine (gravity fed tube :P)
You can see how the system works a bit in this set of photos and video:
We need to enhance it a little more - make the travel smoother but we're much closer now. I'll take some photos of the bits inside when we have to strip it down again (which ain't very easy/fun with so many screws that can only be turned a little each time).
